What you may have been waiting for

Here finally are the colours of some of the guys from Thor's Conundrum.

So what we have here is the base color of the characters. Now to do the shadow layer it was just black at 42% opacity highlights were grey at 29%, hence the normal, dark and light.
Now why the variations of Thor's colours?
This is because within the 3 minutes of the film it goes through 5 different colour settings. So then I made up a colour sheet for each character in each setting. but I've only shown Thor here, just for ease.

INTERNATIONAL ANIMATION DAY

This is my thing I did for International Animation Day. I did this coz Marianna Shek asked me to. And when she asks you something you do it. She has that power. I think she's a witch.
It was a pretty sweet day I don't think I will regale you with all the details. But it was great to see old friends and to see short films from around the world. I especially liked this one from France where people didn't wear pants. I'll post it when I find it. It was also great to get people's perspective on the industry in Queensland and where I should go with it. Also running into Ben Drake was fantastic. He just finished up in Melbourne and is now back in BrisVegas and will be working on a short film of his own. Can't wait

Also the music with the showreel is like that because the music I had originally was copyrighted and it could not be used on the 'ol youtube. But they gave me a list of songs I could use. sadly it didn't fade out in the end. Oh well!

Baby and Baby Animal Weeks

So while I have been working on my short film I decided I needed to get back into sketching. So each week will hopefully be a different theme. The past 2 weeks were babies and baby animals. Really wasn't my choice.
